Gulf Equity Partners (GEP) is a private equity vehicle investing in food related business in Gulf region. The
vehicle is managed by EV Consulting leading corporate finance and management advisory firm operating
across CIS and Gulf regions.
GEP comes to bring in synergy of mutually supporting businesses across the wide range of the food value
chain, as well as capitalize on preferred access to 180m+ market of Eurasian Economic Union (Russia,
Kazakhstan, Belarus, Armenia and Kirgizstan).

Eco Fresh the largest producer of mushrooms in the United
Arab Emirates is the first company in our portfolio.
The company supplies champignon mushrooms in the UAE
market with its production being available in all top retail
chains of UAE. Fresh mushrooms are delivered for our
customers on daily basis from the farm in Ras Al Khaimah.
Throughout our 3-year experience, Eco Fresh has attained
deep expertise of growing high quality mushrooms in the
UAE’s hot climate.
Currently we are planning significant expansion of the
existing production as well as setup/acquisition of compost
production.
